Every now and then a dog comes along that touches the hearts and minds of people everywhere. From Lassie to Rin Tin Tin. From Benji to Cujo.
This week it is the adorably nihilistic "Donald the Dog."
This freedom loving, all American canine lives the principles of American Nihilism. He has no principles. Although housebroken, Donald still leaves a pile of neocon on the rug now and then for no other reason than he feels like it.
Donald supports both gay and inter species marriage. Donald also supported Barack Obama before Brain Rage's JBW.
Donald volunteered to be neutered and insists his girlfriends of all species practice birth control and safe sex. His "Doggie Condoms. Com" provides jobs and supports our economy.
Donald the Dog. American Nihilist.

I think though that we know what happens to those with Douglas Derangement Sydrome... they get rabid. You know what happened to Ole Yeller, right?? lol
You nihilist dawgs.
lol
Don't be yeller cowards that threaten lawsuits... you litigious nihilists.
I don't know this Octopus person... but I thought T101 and Deranged Leftwing Baker and JBW were basically nice guys with, well, just really deluded by Obama and the promise of printing money to solve all the nation's worries.
Guys, isn't my idea of secession appearing wiser and wiser as time goes on??
We could have an American Nihilist nation north of the Mason Dixon line... and an American Power nation south of the Mason Dixon line... and probly from your side a Great Wall??
We'll just throw the lawyers over the wall to ya. :)
Yes, the secession thing sounds great and always has. We really wish you people would go away. But, you don't get half of the country, so there's going to have to be negotiation.
And, I should have added, since there will be negotiating, it's lucky for us that we have the lawyers.
If I throw in New Hampshire will you secede and be done with it Grace?
Oh Grace... We don't hate or fear Donald. We just find him kinda funny.
Every blogger in our roll has been attacked on Donald's blog, generally without provocation. (In fact, that's the only way to get on the blogroll... ...an attack by the Professor.
More power to those who think he's anything special... You're welcome to believe as you will. But those of us he's deemed "nihilists," with neither proof or reasonable explanation, think him a sad joke.
I don't share Octo's thinking on this legal thing; Donald does occasionally buzz over to other people's blogs, tossing out sad little one-line versions of his AmPow schtick, but he's virtually always swatted down like the gnat that he's become whenever he leaves the safety & security of his home turf and admiring, sycophantic, echo-headed friends like you.
And yes, I have received visits from one or two other folks from AmPow, as well. Aside one ass that even Donald has come out against, I've never received any threats, but if Octo has, Octo should do whatever he needs to to see that he is physically & legally protected.
Donald believes in & perpetuates an "us vs them," "good vs evil" world where those who do not share his views are enemies to be wiped out. While I'm relatively certain that he's not stupid enough to suggest or employ violent means to achieve his ends, I cannot say the same of all of his readership with any certainty. (And he obviously is stupid enough to willfully misunderstand a common expression for angry boss firing folks responsible -- "heads will roll" -- as a death threat, which I only know because Donald keeps insisting on selling that meaning to his readership, no matter how stupid it makes him sound).
((& yes, I also realize the futility of saying any of this--or indeed even talking rationally--to a woman who believes Obama is the anti-Christ, and who wants to break up the U.S.A. and form her own Christian nation with a portion of it, but there you are... Such is the readership of Donald's blog.
You & Phillipe are among the most pleasant folks there, but there's no denying there's issues with you both. Whatever he happens to believe, Phillipe's beliefs about Muslims are not so far away as he'd like us to believe from his early nazi/commie inklings about jews & capitalists... For all his pleasantries, Phillipe, too, seems a man in constant need of some "other;" some "enemy" to hate. I'm sorry, Grace, but you folks deserve each other...))
aha ha ha. lol
Yeah, you can have the lawyers. We'll have the people, DLB. Lawyers decide laws. Laws that are justly created require the consent of the people for government is to be of the people, by the people, and for the people. We just have a polarized gulf right now between us in the right and the nihilist left. And if you want a nihilist nation, I'd agree that is your right to lobby for and to create. If it was your will, that you valued unification more than separation, you would modify your far left-ism... moderate it to the center... and pick your battles rather than declaring war on people who are to the right to silence them... with lawyers, laws, and an oppressive and tyrannical government. Unfortunately, we see, this is the will of the nihilist left to rule fascistly.
I think it would be wonderful, you guys, if you went to church every Sunday, said your prayers every morning - "Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.." But I'm not so "far right" that I would think to legislate your conformity to my belief system in your personal life. And I would not tell you what to think or what to believe or what.... to say.
Freedom of speech is the foundation of any true liberty... which is what I treasure for through it men find their own way to truth in the free market of ideas.
"The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object."
"Difference of opinion leads to enquiry, and enquiry to truth."
Thomas Jefferson
Jefferson, as a libertarian, believed in freedom of speech and opinion. Liberals, as I see it, can coexist with conservatives. I, for example, like and respect Bill and Hillary Clinton -- though I would not vote for either.
I did not object to the Presidency of Bill Clinton. I would not have objected to the Presidency of Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, the Dems when nihilist left in Obama. Nihilists are more than welcome, from my opinion, to their free speech in a unified nation. The problem is that the right sees clearly, and knows, that the nihilist left does not accord -- and will not accord -- to the right the same liberty in a free and unified nation.
Obama, in going hard left, rather than remaining centrist as was his platform -- creates a nation which can remain unified only in the loss of freedom to the right. To this, we cannot agree. I don't believe he will be moderated by a supermajority in the Senate. (As we already see.)
I would love for him and the Dems to go moderate so that unity could be maintained. Practically speaking, I do not see that as feasible.
As far as territory, who am I?? I am not in a state legislature. I have not yet great influence as a speaker infusing these United States with the WILL that is within me that forms political movements... and hope through change.
The States are free and Sovereign over the Federal Government in accordance with the 10th Amendment. Neither my opinion nor yours will draw the lines of demarcation between the Red States and the Blue states that turn "hard red" and "hard blue" when division and separation becomes necessary as the result of the nihilist left ascending to power in the USA - which they will make fascist and totalitarian through the use and abuse of law denying rights and the liberty -- especially of free speech -- of the right.
Hats off to you. Good walls make good neighbors. ;)
Where the wall is -- shall be decided by others than "grace explosion". You will need to negotiate with the elected representatives of the people of the several States. I am merely an analyist telling you, prophetically as future projectors do, that without this Government moderating itself or being moderated by the right --- dissolution of the USA is imminent. And we saw how well the nihilist left supermajority in Congress included Repubs in the forming of the "Porkulus Package". When the Dems and libs gain sufficient power - they become fascist nihilists by nature.
That, dear friends, is the problem. Power corrupts -- and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The right internally by it's own values restrains itself to protect the liberty of those with whom it does not agree. The left knows only the corruption of power to deny inclusion and moderation of it's own will in the making of laws and government when it ascends to the height of power.
Anyone with sense, imo, would see that Obama is the personification of the dissolution of the USA in his ascendancy to the fake (because he's foreign) office of "POTUS" in the USA. Even he knows this, and draws comparisons between himself and Lincoln in propaganda preparation for the days he knows are coming that he will create.
Territory?? I am an observor. I am a person seeing the power dynamics. These are things I study and enjoy: telling the future.
;)
Grace and peace to you.
T101,
"New Hampshire??"
lol
See me delivering the line like in the movie, "What About Bob".
;)
Too funny.
Hey repsac,
Honestly, I do believe that the heads will roll was a statement of corporate head chopping in job elimination... the way I understood that statement. However, I did see another statement that was focused on the end of lives. So, I think there was probably honest confusion "blurring" the two different blogs together. (I mean we're on these blogs late sometimes and see what we see.)
I can mediate and request reconsideration of the statements for Donald's review so that he can withdraw the statement with apology IF he of his own free will -- agrees.
Must there be war between the nihilist left and the conservative right??
:)
Can't we all be friends and agree to disagree?? Must we seek to limit free speech??
You are all welcome on my blog to comment. And I'm probly way more extreme than Donald.
IN FACT, can I join your blogroll?? Because he let me have it on American Power, too. (Because I was wearing him out with my 666 talk. lol)
But I didn't take it personally. I moderated my speech freely of my own will in recognition and respect for his right to state boundaries on his blog.
Besides, where would I go?? I'm not a nihilist. You guys wouldn't let me have my own opening to create articles here, would ya?? :)
Listen, we're gonna need bakers on our side of the wall. And I've seen what DLB can do.
No possible way am I going to tell DLB he cannot come to my nation. Plus, I already let him know he's got the keys to my beemer in case of rapture.
;)
Anyway, when people slam on ideas because they don't agree, I can sit back and laugh when it's done well. You guys have really quite good satirical blogs on here.
Best wishes to you in the increase of your readership.
Personally, I enjoy the blog.
Grace: the offer of New Hampshire was basically because I was tired of their stuck up attitude of having to be the first primary in the Nation. I figured if New Hampshirites were forced to sit through one of your interminable mind numbing rants ala The Donald, it would teach them a lesson.
I suffered through your manifestos on this post out of politeness because I posted it.
Could you show some Christian politeness and shorten up your next comment please?
sure... since the concepts fly straight over your TNOT head.
Grace, thanks for coming on over. What do you type, like 1000 WPM? I am glad that you seem to get the joke here. It really is a spoof that started because DD was always referring to us as nihilist atheists. But, I don't believe it is intended to be totally about him. I like to keep an open mind and am actually more of an agnostic. Nihilist agnostic doesn't carry the same weight, though.
I can't speak for anyone else here, but I have some sympathy for Donald. I really think he needs to chill out a bit. They must have some kind bud in SoCal that he could imbibe of. His response to Tbogg was totally off the rails. Tbogg sounded sincere enough to me, and even if he wasn't, then responding like a psycho doesn't seem like the best idea.
You and Philippe do appear to practice what you preach and I commend you both for that. There was a comment thread following a torture post over at AmPow and you guys both went against the grain to oppose it. Kudos.
I don't want to ruin our image over here, but there are "nihilists" who don't go to church every Sunday, but still manage to be kind to small children and animals. And there are Ted Haggards who do go to church regularly and, well you know.
