Reply to American Power: Nihilist Muzzies aren't the only ones punishing their wives...

2/24/09 UPDATE:
Welcome AmPow readers. Now comes the tricky part.

Find where there is any "denialism" of either the possibility of Aasiya Hassan's murder being an honor killing, or of any possible Islamic dimension to crime, which is what Professor Douglas' link is allegedly meant to show.

Good luck.

(Personally, I think Donald sent you on a wild goose chase--particularly since, aside the AmPow heading, there is no mention of the crime at all in the text of the post--but you're welcome to read what's posted & decide for yourself.)

When you're done here, please go back to Professor Douglas' blog & either quote the evidence you found in support of his allegation, or ask him what the hell he was talking about.

Oh, and also keep in mind that, had Donald not deleted from his blog the very comment to which he's sent you now, chances are we wouldn't be having this conversation. While you're here, follow the "Christian Domestic Discipline" link & decide for yourself whether the comment I posted contained "spam," which is the reason he gave for deleting it.

And hey... Thanks for stopping by... 8>)

The comment: American Power: Muzzammil Hassan and Islamic Primordial Violence: Shoprat sez: "This is a religion whose leadership argues over how big of a stick the Koran allows a man to hit his wife with." February 18, 2009 11:16 AM

My reply (Before Donald deleted it, calling it "spam.": Christian Domestic Discipline - Loving Godly Christian Marriages

(I simply left the link. The rest was up to the reader.)

Further info (now that the Donald has forced me to turn my single comment into a blog post, with his weird, weird ways...):

(From the link)
This site is meant to be a haven for married couples who practice safe and consensual Christian Domestic Discipline, or for those who would like to learn more about it.

This site and the information presented here is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only.

This website is intended to provide a home for couples involved in a Christian Domestic Discipline marriage where they might find information and share fellowship with other CDD couples without having to wade through pornography, warped practices, or distorted ideals of what God created for marriage.

This site is not the typical "spanking" site that is prevalent on the web. This site focuses mainly on improving marital relationships by learning to follow God-given guidelines and roles, as listed in God's Word. God keeps His Word. When we obey His principles, blessings will follow.

I stand in awe of your superior blogging Repsac. My question is, the Spankmaster, "Sir Donald" from the CDD site our Donald? That dude told me he was a barrel of monkeys once, but hell, I never thought he'd be that much fun.

Is David Vitter part of this group? Actually he might go for the spanking himself.

I'm totally down with dishing out some spankings but I'm actually in no rush to get married. And spam? What, did Don think you were trying to make some cash by enticing his Christian readers to check out the link? Jesus.

And now (predictably, given the handle of my accuser) I've become a "commie symp," too...

But yeah, JBW, I wouldn't be surprised...

Repsac3,

I just wanted to commend you on your eloquent and detailed rebuttals to the Nutty Professor.

You are a trooper with a lot of patience and diligence man!

Keep up the good fight soldier!

I am not sure where the "Professor" gets his credibility as an academic, when he deletes posts, just because they don't fancy his bigotry.

I realise that I aint as patient as most of you, when it comes to posting on his site. He sure does seem to have a double standard for commenters that slap him on the rear end every time he writes a sentence and those that don't?

Here's a comment that was deleted, perhaps you saner, nihilists can shed a light on why this was delete material!

Husna "Paranoid" is the modus operandi here.

If you haven't figured it out by now, you'll get there pretty quickly!

Right-wing American establishment seems to have this historic fascination with stimulating paranoia amongst the population. Those big bad commies and Mccarthyism have now successfully been dethroned by the cave dwelling Bin Ladens that are roaming around the United States, terrorizing the women population with beheadings.

I mean, nevermind that they lead the world by a long shot for having the largest crime rates amongst developed nations.

Nevermind that serial killer population in America happen to be predominantly caucasian and of Christian background (sort of like this apparently "Muslim" guy that doesn't fast, or do any of the things associated to the religion, except apparently beheadings!).

But of course, the paranoia is still there! I wonder when the Dalai Lama is going to represent the next biggest threat to the right-wing of the United States and its pseudo-utopian society.

Also notice that this sort of paranoia seems to propagate exclusively through the right-wing establishment and its head-in-sand "think tank"?

cheers

Hey CS... Sorry for not patting you on the head & offering you the nihilist version of the Donnie-snack, earlier (...but frankly, I'm still workin' on it... I'm just not sure that outsiders will understand a cheery "Like we give a fuck..." in reply to each & every comment, the mirror opposite of Donald's "Thanks for visiting!!" which he offers to all his good little dogs who toe the line & agree with him. I can't recall the last time he thanked me for visiting, and I think myself one of the highlights of his little adventure, there... I mean, someone's got to do it...)

Anyway... Yeah, he'll occasionally delete posts that really aren't offensive or whatever... I'm surprised he does it, but I'm even more surprised it doesn't happen to me more often. He really doesn't seem to like me, anymore, and even some of the regulars on his ideological side have been wondering why...

A funny thing happened as regards your deleted piece, though... I quoted & replied to a bit of it, before I knew he'd deleted it, and so far, it remains... That line about the Dalai Lama put me in mind of his attack on Deepak Chopra and his son... Two of the most peaceful & spiritual men I can think of, and not so much deserving of the full Donald treatment, even if he does disagree with 'em. Thinking about it now (& wishing I'd thought of it then), I wonder whether Donald knows the Pope stands opposed the war in Iraq (& claims Jesus is, as well), and whether he'd be as willing to attack him (or Him) for his pacifist views as Donald was the Chopras for theirs.

Who knows...

Hey, fuck you very much for visiting!! We'll try to give a crap what you think, next time, maybe...

Repsac,

Sorry to break it to yah, but I suspect the probabality of the magic comment disappearance On Mr. Professor's blog is usually directly proportional to how unrefutable your argument happens to be.

The less refutable, the greater the probability of deletion (if he thinks he can get away with it).

You damned nihilist bastard.

By the way, if you guys don't mind, I will copy and paste any comments that get deleted here for kicks.
