Donald Douglas Says The Devil I Made 'em Do It...

Here's the reason Donald Douglas is so very upset with me (seemingly moreso than he is with any/all of the bloggers who actually did call or write to his superiors at the college over the last two years to discuss his online behaviors, even):

Donald believes I made them do it.

No, really... Donald believes that I made several bloggers (including a few libertarians/conservatives) call or write to the President of his college and the head of his department, and allowed them to take the heat for doing so, while I wrote posts and comments throwing them under my bus, saying how wrong it was for them to go so far as to involve his job in an online disagreement, in order to establish "plausible denial."
YOU pledged an intimidation campaign:
"As long as Donald Douglas is posting a public blog that accepts comments, I'm going to continue to comment on what he posts, whenever and wherever I choose'
I banned YOU. But you publicly admitted my wishes were to be disrespected and that you would taunt, harass, and intimidate "whenever and wherever I choose."
And one of those places was my college. YOU had henchmen do it for you so you could claim plausible denial. But the cat's out now. YOU are liable."
And then he gets mad when I suggest that he sounds paranoid...

My theory is that Donald's just angry because he cannot get me to stop posting my opinions about his often hypocritical or bigoted sociopolitical beliefs... (He doesn't seem to be hounding/threatening the folks who actually did contact LBCC over the last 2 years, either on their blogs or on his own American Power blog... He sure has a hard-on for me, though... 29 comments on this blog in three days, as well as 3 posts in as many hours on his own, all making essentially the same specious allegations and accusations...)
---

UPDATE: Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 2:25 AM - Dr Douglas' non-responsive response

Our fearless muse (who, I shit you not, has been using the screen name "Neocon Avenger" in online comments recently--as though he's not ridiculous enough as he is, without having folks imagining him in tights and a cape, taboot) tosses out the same old accusations and allegations--along with a whole lot of invective and bile--but never addresses either the words of this post, or offers anything in the way of evidence that I have ever even suggested that anyone contact his workplace, or harass or intimidate him in any way. (He won't. He can't. Contrary to his absurd conspiratorial theories or imagined superpowers, I never have.)

For my part, I know why he won't post on my blog. There are two very good reasons.

Since Don's imaginary friend Jan is still "risking her safety" by lurking in our comment threads let me extend a sincere nihilist apology to "her." Jan I'm sorry that you are as humorless a prig as Donald Douglas.

The joke was in the idea of you endangering yourself by commenting on a thread that contained such vile creatures as we nihilists. Glad to see that the bigotry Donald has toward homosexuals doesn't bother ya. When I said we would have our way with you there was no rape intended. When you saw the virility of the nihilist man it would be entirely consensual.

Can I presume that you are an agoraphobe? Anyone who fears for their safety while commenting basically anonymously in a thread on the internet has some issues. God you people are thinskinned and humorless.

Feel free to comment. If you play nice with us we play nice with you. Maybe if you look a little closer in these threads you'll see which side most of the invective is coming from.

And Reppy, Repsac3 and the Demonic Henchmen would be a great name for a band.

Hate seeing Jan become collateral damage. If there truly is a Jan and she's not one of Donald's other personalities. If she does exist I'm sure she's a lovely lady although maybe wound a little too tight.

All I know, or think I know, is that Repsac promised there would be beer and loose women. Unless he didn;t promise. Then I'll have to make up a bunch shit or misinterpret a bunch of shit to get him to apologise.

But I know what Don's game is. it really has nothing to do with reppy or anyone here. The poor chap is in some hot water. California's budget is in hell and if political science departments are cut he has nowhere to go. Other than maybe Liberty University but unfortunately his foul language would probably disqualify him from getting on there.

I know how you feel Don. My political activities have cost me a few opportunities as well as one of my family members being denied jobs. Thus is the path we've chosen. Good luck to you.

You wanna see something really odd?

Here's what Donald said Jan wrote in her e-mail earlier today: "I've been following this for awhile, but haven't been over to his site, until today. I went with an open mind, determined to try to see both sides of the story if I could, and what I saw was worse than I thought."

But this is what she wrote in her original comment about me, back in September, 2010: "I've read the comments on your site, and the others, and you all seem to get great satisfaction in egging each other on, each trying to be funnier, more clever, or even more sarcastic than the other. Have you thought about how awful you make yourselves, and your own ideological beliefs look to others?"

So, which is it? Had she been here before today, or hadn't she?

(And isn't it odd that she uses basically the same words--the exact same words, in fact--to describe our blog as Donald himself does?)

I'm not saying Dr Douglas made her up--or that he perhaps just made up her most recent "voice whispered in his ear" e-mail to him--but the inconsistency about her forgetting she was supposed to've been here before, and the consistency in the description of AmNi is pretty friggin' odd, and does lead one to wonder, a bit...

(Surprised you weren't accused of attempted murder over that whole Amtrack thing, Kevin... Pearl-clutching... Just pearl-clutching... I think we're going to need more fainting couches...)

Kevin Robbins said...

Guess I should read the comments before I post. Yeah, I didn't think about the attempted murder angle. But either they know Amtrak doesn't ever run on time or being despoiled is a greater tragedy than being hit by a train.

Kevin Robbins said...

Anyway if she's not real we know where Don comes down on the side of Jan or Marcia. Donald do you have any readers named Ginger or Mary Ann?

repsac3 said...

"Guess I should read the comments before I post."

Naaah... It's a "great minds" thing... Besides, I think it was one o' them mutual/simultaneous things, like the hummers (and the malicious orgasms, of course...)

But I'm glad to see that you caught it, too... It wasn't just my imagination...

Jan said...

I hate to disappoint you, Mr. Robbins, but I never said that I had never been to this site.

Obviously I have, or I wouldn't have said so in the comment that I made almost a year ago, when I did visit here.

I said that I had been following the story for awhile, meaning that I had been reading the posts at American Power, and all the back and forth between he, and Mr. Casper, and others.

I am not a liar, nor am I trying to deceive anyone, here. I did come over here to see, exactly, what was being said...but, I never expected to find myself mentioned here, and certainly not in such a despicable way.

I WAS shocked. I wasn't exaggerating about that. And I did find the comment about me, disgusting.

Perhaps, I don't have a sense of humor, as you suggested, especially when it comes to vulgar comments, but how could anyone find humor in the suggestion of raping someone?

Isn't that what you meant when you talked about 'having your way' with me?

I have never said that I was afraid of you, or 'scared' to comment...but I really don't like the hateful comments, and emails that I have sometimes gotten from having commented on certain blogs...which is why I seldom comment anywhere.

And I hate to comment as 'anonymous' because that does seem cowardly, and not likely to be taken seriously, anyway.

I do think that this site has a lot of hateful things said on it, and I'm sorry, but no matter how I try, I just can't see the humor in trying to hurt or humiliate anyone...and that goes for anyone who tries to do that.

I don't hate anyone, and I don't think that anyone should be falsely accused of anything...it just isn't right.

We all have faults, no one is perfect, but I don't see the good in making false accusations, or trying to make others look bad.

And yes, I am a Christian, and I dislike reading things that ridicule my belief.

I realize that not everyone believes in what I believe in, which is why I do stay away from sites like this..others have a right to make jokes about God, or to speak of things which I consider to be immoral, but I don't have to read it.

So, no, I did not lie when I said that I hadn't been here, because I have, almost a year ago, as I said.

And BTW..my real name is Jan, and I am NOT afraid of anyone here.

I have said what I feel, and I hope that it has cleared up some things for you all.

Not that it matters to you, probably, but I won't be making any further comments.

I will say that I came here today, because I was pretty sure there would be some kind of comment to what I said..I'm glad I did, because it proves to me...well, a lot of things.

Now that I think about it, I probably should have addressed this comment to Repsac3, since it IS his blog, and I see that he has had a few things to say about my veracity, too.

Thanks.

Gosh, the insults just keep coming in comments, even as I write.

You know, Mr. Rollins, I think you win the Grand Prize here for that, too.

And you look like such a nice guy, too!

All I can tell you, Jan, is that the wording of your e-mail to Donald was plainly unclear... It does say "you hadn't been over to [this] site until today," Both Kevin and I independently saw it, quoted it, and commented on it.

"I hate to comment as 'anonymous' because that does seem cowardly, and not likely to be taken seriously, anyway."

It will always be taken more seriously than "A reader who wishes to remain nameless sent me an e-mail, and asked me to post the following..."

That said, I understand your concerns. I've gotten a few odd e-mails myself, after visiting certain sites...

"I do think that this site has a lot of hateful things said on it, and I'm sorry, but no matter how I try, I just can't see the humor in trying to hurt or humiliate anyone...and that goes for anyone who tries to do that."

You have seen that photoshop of me on Donald's blog, have you not... Why do you think he keeps posting it?

Why has he been using my full name in his recent posts (or, what he thinks is my full name, anyway), when he and I had a conversation several years ago about my preferring to use this screen name online? Don't you think he's attempting to do me some harm by doing so?
Have you seen the language he uses to refer to us?

I don't expect you to respond--or gosh forbid, to actually publicly admit I might have a point--but I ask that you give it some thought and admit it to yourself, regardless...

"I don't think that anyone should be falsely accused of anything...it just isn't right. We all have faults, no one is perfect, but I don't see the good in making false accusations, or trying to make others look bad."

I'm not sure what you meant by that... but I'm hoping that it's placement in the comments of this particular post are not simply a matter of happenstance...

"I realize that not everyone believes in what I believe in, which is why I do stay away from sites like this..others have a right to make jokes about God, or to speak of things which I consider to be immoral, but I don't have to read it."

I too, am religious (though Donald has gone after that aspect of my life, as well)... While some here are less spiritual than others, I'd hesitate to say that this site is irreligious or offensive... ...though different folks are offended by different things.

"So, no, I did not lie when I said that I hadn't been here, because I have, almost a year ago, as I said."

Again Jan, your wording was unclear... It's quoted above... ...and I find it hard to believe that you don't see it (or if you do, that you refuse to acknowledge that it was an understandable response to what Donald reported that you said.)

"Not that it matters to you, probably, but I won't be making any further comments."

That choice is yours... but you are always welcome.

Kevin Robbins said...

Jan, I'll apologize that you did become "collateral damage" in this latest skirmish between AmNi and AmPow. I was unsure whether you had stated that you hadn't been here before and indicated that in the post above. That's, of course, a minor point.

I suppose "have our way" could mean rape. I generally use ravish when I need a synonym for rape, tho. Besides, we weren't going to because we are all homosexuals. Ask Donald. In any case, we have no desire to ravish you or tie you to the RR tracks.

I can pretty much assure you that no one from whatever this blog is called right now is going to go to your blog if you have one and leave comments or send you e-mails either. I'm sure your friend Donald might tell you different.

Regarding your dislike of hateful things do you think your friend Donald ever says anything hateful? Is he a good Christian in the "who would Jesus call a fag" tradition? I realize this is a rhetorical question at this point.

Anyway, this blog likely has a readership of probably about 5 (6 counting you) so you probably shouldn't worry too much about your reputation. We don't worry about ours.

Promise not to involve you in anymore of our little blog wars here. Peace!

Mocking sociopathic dickheads is just as evil as being one? THE MOAR YOU KNOW.

"no matter how I try, I just can't see the humor in trying to hurt or humiliate anyone"

When Charlie Chaplin made fun of a certain Austrian ex-painter it was EXACTLY like the Romans mocking Jesus on the cross.

At long last, libtards, have you no shame ?!?!?!?

Has it occurred to you... that you are a stalker?? lol

repsac3 said...

Not really, Grace...

...but thanks for stopping by.

repsac3 said...

Hey, Grace (or Suzie)...

Apparently your comment gave Donald a happy...

Perhaps you ought to go on back and be one of his regulars, again... It seems he misses you and your incisive perspective on things... I've little doubt you'll fit right in, over there...

AmNi of course, thanks both Donald and Grace for stopping by and offering their [ahem] "perspectives"...

Carl said...

Reppy, Suzie is one of my friends and a co-blogger with me. And you'll note the curious subtraction

Suz, this is one time your peculiar skill set is not required. I got this. ;-)

Kevin Robbins said...

She should fit in over there, it's not like it's real crowded. For some reason I thought her name was Laura. Got more aliases than I do.

repsac3 said...

Just so there's no confusion, this this Suzie Q was once known as Grace Explosion (and yes, I do believe there was some indication that her name was Laura, but folks can call themselves whatever they wish, online (obviously). She used to frequent American Power, and expressed the idea that all but the christians were going to Hell fairly soon. She wanted to create a US theocracy, in which some portion of the US would be for THE SAVED, only. There were several other things that set her apart from, well, most other folks in the world, and as I said elsewhere, even Dr Douglas ended up thinking she was a little too crazy to be associated with--which is really saying something.

She is not THIS Suzie-Q (S-Q), who I know absolutely nothing about, except that she is indeed a co-blogger with Carl at an eponymous blog (for her, not him.)

Kevin Robbins said...

Yes, I remember Grace fondly. She seemed quite pleasant aside from the whole "nihilists are going to Hell or live in a theocracy" thing. I believe she and JBW had an online thing going for awhile. They always fall for those bad boys.

Anyway, I presume neither Suzie Q was the one that John Fogarty fell so hard for.

Carl said...

Consider my defense withdrawn, then. My apologies. They have similar writing styles, for the brevity of the post here.
