Deranged Dishonest Donald Douglas Done Assploded

American Power: Oops! Las Vegas Occupy Hoists Palestinian Flag — Racist Water James Casper III Hardest Hit!

I may or may not answer all of dishonest Don's provocational attack posts--at this point he's just repeating the same lies in new posts, and all of 'em have been answered repeatedly, already--but I do have to say that dishonest Donald Douglas' recent posts put the lie to any notion that I'M the one obsessed, and also shows who's likely been hardest hit, as well... Judging by Dishonest Don's mental state, as evidenced by his recent posts, it seems pretty likely he has suffered some kind of head trauma... I'm just sayin'...

Another commenter here said it awhile back, and he was right... Someone has most certainly broken the AssProf... To use the man's own vernacular, I think Dishonest Donald Douglas done assploded... ...and chances are slim he'll ever be put right.

As for the post at hand, good for Donald... He found a picture of a flag. But he's still playing the same shell game as always... That one flag doesn't mean anything more than one person put a flag on a fence (and since there isn't a single person in the picture, we don't even know that it wasn't the "OUTRAGED" photographer that put it there, so he could post it, and be OUTRAGED.) Neither that flag or the person or people responsible for putting it there represent the thinking of everyone in the Occupy movement. I suspect many don't support the violence coming from either side in that conflict. Others probably don't support Palestinian statehood at all. And yes, there probably are folks who don't support Israel at all, too.

That said, I'm sure there are people who are part of the Occupy movement who believe the Palestinians should have a state. There are also many Jews who think the Palestinians ought to have a state. I believe a few Republican presidents, senators, and house reps have also come out in favor of a two state solution in the middle east. Supporting Palestinian statehood does not make one an anti-Semite. Disagreeing with the Israeli government, whether it's regarding Palestinian statehood, settlements, border fences and walls, or even garbage collection, doesn't make one an anti-Semite, either.

So Dishonest Donald Douglas found a picture of a flag at an Occupy site, and thinks it proves that everyone who supports the occupy movement is therefore an anti-Semite. Why am I not surprised?

People are individuals, with their own ideas. No one Occupier represents the thinking of every Occupier, on this or any other issue. What Dishonest Donald is doing is like pointing to Willard Romney (Or Newton, or Ron Paul, or Crazy-eyes Bachmann) and saying he or she represents the thinking of ALL Republicans on a given issue (or any issue.) That's why I keep saying personal responsibility, not this bullshit collective guilt that Dishonest Donald keeps trying to sell. If Occupyers are all anti-Semites based on the writing or personal skills of a relative few, then republicans are all white supremacists, like Ron Paul and his Republican followers. (And before Dishonest Donald comes by and writes a breathlessly bullshit-laden post about how I called all Republicans white supremacists, the point is they're not... Making sweeping generalizations about whole groups of people based on the behavior of a few members of the group doesn't stand up to scrutiny, whether the group is "occupiers" or "Republicans."

It's likely Dishonest Donald will keep trying to make this kinda charge, but it sounds more and more stupid with each passing day...

BTDT Files - Jew-Hating Anti-Semite

Wednesday, December 28, 2011:

American Power: Racist Walter James Casper III Doubles-Down on Endorsement of Revolutionary Anti-Semitic Occupy Wall Street:
"Racist Repsac3 has a big butthurt post whining about how he's not really a racist anti-Semitic Jew-basher, despite endorsing a movement that was founded on property expropriation, revolution, and anti-Jewish and anti-Israel eliminationism."
Leaving aside for a minute whether Dishonest Donald Douglas' assertions about the founding and purpose of the Occupy movement are even true, it is Donald's assertion that one can be labelled anti-Semitic if one supports a movement where any one person involved with it ever said a bigoted thing about Jews (or, as you'll see, disagreed with Israeli government policy.) If that's not guilt-by-association nonsense, I don't know what is...
"Jew-hating Walter James Casper weaselly claims that he's never said anything against the Jews. And that's irrelevant. He confirmed that he endorsed the movement but denies the central role of anti-Semitism to the group."
That's right... According to Dishonest Donald Douglas, it's irrelevant that one has never spoken ill of Jewish people. All it takes to be a Jew-hating anti-Semite is to endorse a movement at which a few individuals--either members of the general public, or in a few cases, longer term activists--have said some pretty horrible things about Jews. Your own words and actions are not what matter; if one member of your group says or does something shameful, every member of your group is responsible for those shameful words or deeds. I'm sure all of those adulterous, pedophiliac, white supremacist Republicans--including our own Dishonest Donald Douglas, of course--are down with Donald's belief in collective group guilt, as opposed to individual responsibility, for bad words and deeds.

As I've said before, these kind of sweeping generalizations about whole groups of people are what lead to stereotypes and bigotry. When one decides to believe--and worse propagate, as Dishonest Donald is doing--the idea that seeing a statistically small number of _______ people acting a certain way means that MOST or ALL _______ people act that way, that's bigotry, whether those blanks are filled in with the word "liberal," "conservative," "female," "male," "Jewish," "Muslim," "black," "white," "young," or "old."

Sunday, September 12, 2010: Sasquatch Israel

Here's all you really need to know about Dishonest Donald Douglas as far as his specious accusations of anti-Semitism. He so hates everyone who doesn't agree with him politically or socially that he makes shit up in an effort to smear them. Nowhere was this more plainly obvious than in his infamous "Sasquatch Israel" post. While Dishonest Donald has since deleted the offending paragraphs from his original post (out of shame, one imagines), several bloggers recorded what he wrote for posterity. The following account is from long term American Nihilist friend James B. Webb, in his Brain Rage blog post American Power And Anti-Semitic Hominids:
So my conservative counterpart Donald Douglas of American Power was in New York City over the weekend for the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. His main post on the events has a lot of pictures taken from around the city and while it's a little heavy on religion and rantings about "the left's Media-Industrial-Islamist-Complex" it's still rather interesting to check out but it's his follow-up post about "the America-bashing, anti-Israel left" amongst the sign-carrying protesters of the various ideologies present that day that I found particularly entertaining. Amidst his claims about supposedly out-debating some anti-war "leftists" on the street I found this gem of an accusation:
Then turning around, I saw this kid yacking it up for the crowd, obviously having a blast with this ugly Jew-hating sign. And what does that mean, "SASQUATCH ISRAEL"? This is a play on the "legitimacy myth" of Israel's existence. As there's of course a "Sasquatch myth," it's worth noting the implied comparison: that Israel is also an ape-like beast existing only in historical folklore. Absent legitimacy, Israel has "no right to exist." This kid's sign is but one more example of eliminationist anti-Semitism. And look at how overjoyed he is in boasting this hatred. Creepy.
I'm sure you're all just as familiar as I am with this oh-so-common yet extraordinarily awkwardly worded insult comparing the country of Israel to the cryptozoological creature known as Sasquatch in order to advance the agenda of anti-Semitic eliminationism, right? You know, all those political cartoons you've seen in which Israel is portrayed as a large hulking fictional beast crashing through the dense underbrush of the Middle East with the words "SASQUATCH ISRAEL" written across its chest? Wait, you're not? Yeah, neither am I and it's because Don's claim qualifies as the very definition of the phrase "desperately grasping at straws". Here's a picture of said kid:
Now tell me, if you had to make a guess would you say that his sign reads "SASQUATCH ISRAEL" or does it perhaps read "SASQUATCH IS REAL"? One might even guess that there's a (very good reason that this kid is seemingly "overjoyed" and "having a blast" whilst holding up his sign:
So he's either just some kid having a laugh (or being somewhat serious, who knows?) about the disputed existence of Sasquatch or else he's an unabashed anti-Semite openly boasting of his ugly Jew-hating agenda, thus confirming Don's paranoid fears about the "nihilist left" (oh, and he can't spell very well either). This is what happens when the modern Republican persecution complex goes looking for anti-Semitism around every corner: it inevitably finds it, even in the face of incredulity at the obviously nonsensical nature of it. And on a personal anthropological note, I haven't seen a case of Sasquatch FAIL this bad since the fake freezer Bigfoot from a few years back. I've always suspected that the Sasquatch had a liberal bias...
---
As I said at the time, "...to most of us, misreading the sign--seeing "Sasquatch Isreal," rather than "Sasquatch Is Real," isn't a big deal... A cringe-worthy mistake to be sure, especially when one goes out in public--say, on one's blog--misreading it for the whole world to see, but minor in the general scheme of things...

But making up some myth about anti-Semitism based on misreading the sign, and lying about a whole group of people just because you disagree with them politically, is pretty friggin' bad.
- Dear Jan... (Repsac3's reply to an inquisitive American Power commenter)

Since then, the "jew-hating kid" with the sign has weighed in himself, with his own Facebook page: Sasquatch IsREAL (Also see: Sasquatch Israel Really Is Real... Really!!)
---
See what others had to say, here: Sasquatch Israel (and don't miss SI's descendant--or ancestor, if you believe the aliens might've been here first--Jewbacca)

American Power: Anti-American, Anti-Israel: Scenes From Ground Zero, September 11, 2010 — UPDATE: ''Don Douglas Hearts Juses'

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Outs/Lies of the Day for Wednesday, December 28, 2011, Pt 2

American Power: Tim Cavanaugh on How Unions Co-opting Occupy Wall Street
"PREVIOUSLY: "American Power: Racist Walter James Casper III Doubles-Down on Endorsement of Revolutionary Anti-Semitic Occupy Wall Street.""
CURRENTLY: Bullshit gratuitous mention

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Outs/Lies of the Day for Wednesday, December 28, 2011

I'll say this for him... No matter how many times he's proven wrong, Dishonest Donald Douglas just keeps telling his lies...

American Power: Racist Walter James Casper III Doubles-Down on Endorsement of Revolutionary Anti-Semitic Occupy Wall Street

This is pretty much where I came in... While the terms have changed, Dishonest Donald is still alleging that the folks he disagrees with are nihilists, Stalinists, communists, racists, anti-semites, ???, and still not backing his allegations with anything more than his own say-so.

As far as Dishonest Donald Douglas' most recent attacks on me, it all boils down to one thing: In all those words he wrote or cut and pasted--and not only all the words in this post, but all the words in EVERY SINGLE POST HE'S WRITTEN ACCUSING ME OF ANTI-SEMITISM OR RACISM--he has continuously failed to quote me saying one racist or anti-Semitic thing.

Game over.

Like any nut with a virtual or actual soapbox, Dishonest Donald can stand up and call folks anything he can dream up, but if he cannot show a single instance where I posted something that supports his bullshit racist or anti-semitic smears, it pretty much goes without saying that his smears are false at best, and likely intentionally and libelously dishonest, as well.

Dishonest Donald Douglas can try to disguise his failure to make his case with all manner of guilt by association tactics and like-minded wingnut opinioneers saying the same things he's saying about the occupy movement, but in the end, he hasn't got the goods. He expects his readers to accept that I am what he says I am, just because he says that's what I am. The words and actions he's citing are the words and actions of people I do not know, have never met, and never voiced any support for (or his own, of course) and yet he really seems to believe that by citing some anonymous anti-semitic nut purportedly at an Occupy protest somewhere, he can tar everyone who ever attended a protest or spoke supportively of anything regarding the occupy movement as an anti-Semite and have folks believe him. How gullible he must think his readers are...

According to Donald Douglas, I have an "extreme radical agenda, [and a] live and let live, if it feels good do it, anti-capitalist, anti-American, anti-Israel revolutionary program" and that I am "the epitome of the exterminationist, big-lie neo-commie hate-filled progressive." And yet, he does not ever quote a single sentence I've written that backs any one of those claims. You'd think it would be easy to do, and yet he never does it.

It's like I keep saying... As far as Dishonest Donald is concerned, they're just insulting words... He might just as well be calling me an asswipe as calling me an anti-Semite... One insulting term is just as good as another, for all the proof of either "term of endearment" he manages to offer...

All Dishonest Donald does instead is make insipid arguments like this one:
"Jew-hating Walter James Casper weaselly claims that he's never said anything against the Jews. And that's irrelevant."
Yeah, the fact that I've never actually committed the crime he's accusing me of is irrelevant, he says... Sorry, Dishonest Don... Whether it's being anti-Semitic or stealing candy from a drugstore, actually being guilty of doing the thing you're accused of doing is very relevant, at least here in the US... One has to be some kinda ideologically driven nutbag, to suggest otherwise...

Unsupported allegations and smears on the internet are not worth the electrons with which they're printed. To call someone a name or label them without being able to support that name or label with evidence is to tell a lie. Dishonest Donald Douglas is a consummate and habitual liar. (In fact, one wonders whether he is even capable of telling the truth...)

Game over.
The End.
(Not that he won't keep lying, of course... He will. But his lies are powerless, and even he knows it.)

As for the remainder, Dishonest Donald's claims seem to rest on a few similarly bogus assumptions and assertions.

Donald Douglas believes in collective guilt rather than personal responsibility.

According to Dishonest Donald Douglas, to be an occupy protester or supporter is to be an anti-Semite, even if you've ever personally made an anti-Semitic statement of any kind. Everyone is collectively guilty, because at least one occupy protester or attendee somewhere said something bad about the Jews (or alternatively, because someone at a magazine both wrote an article in 2004 about US neocon support for Israel AND wrote an e-mail blast in 2011 saying that AdBusters Magazine subscribers should "Occupy Wall Street.")

The idea of collective guilt, where everyone who is a member of a particular group shares in the guilt for the words or deeds of any one member, is the very building block of bigotry. It's sweeping generalization, attributing the behavior of one _____ person to every _____ person. While Dishonest Donald Douglas is calling me a racist anti-Semite, he's simultaneously saying that it's alright to blame Peter for the sins of Paul, as long as both Peter and Paul are members of the same group, in this case Occupy protesters. One wonders whether it would be similarly ok if the link was that they're both black, or both Jewish. You know what those college professors are like, after all... I mean if Professor Donald Douglas does it, they all must, right?

Two or more people telling the same lie does not make the lie any less of a lie.

In this post, Dishonest Donald Douglas cites several other rightwing authors and bloggers who, miracle of miracles, echo the same things he's been saying. (Whether they're echoing him, he's echoing them, or that two or more ideologically similar minds might have ideologically similar thoughts on a given topic is left open to interpretation, of course...)

That Commentary magazine's Jonathan Neumann ALSO believes the Occupy movement is anti-Semitic--by that same guilt-by-association logic that Dishonest Donald employs, along with the history Israel has with the word "occupy," which to him seems significant... (...ignoring, of course, that according to his theory, the US occupiers are wrapping themselves in the very cloak of a group they supposedly hate, those Jewish occupiers on Palestinian land.)--is not really all that surprising.

Dishonest Donald believes he and his fellow right-wingers know what the occupy movement "REALLY" represents, and would prefer that you believe them, rather than listen to what the actual folks at the protests have to say about why they're there.

Yes, some anarchist and communist student groups involved in coalitions trying to keep tuition affordable suggested in 2010 that occupation was a worthwhile tactic--as they say, it had been used successfully in 2008 by the workers at a door manufacturing company to persuade Bank of America to give the company (and therefore themselves) more time before foreclosing--but because occupation is a protest tactic, not a political or social ideology, I kinda fail to see why that matters.

And besides... Take a look at who first called for a tea party movement, and then get back to me as to whether the Dishonest Donald Douglas and his tea party friends ended up espousing the values of it's earliest proponent. Things change.

Second, that a magazine with an arguably anti-Semitic article in it back in 2004 is ipso facto anti-Semitic today, and that therefore anything that has some connection to them is tainted before it ever began, is just silly. The occupy movement isn't about what other things the magazine may've published. It's about what they were calling for in suggesting an Occupy movement, and what the people attending were and are calling for when they attend[ed].

Dishonest Donald claims that the participation of AdBusters magazine means the Occupy movement is about "rampant Jew hatred and eliminationism," and "The initial Occupy mobilizations were explicitly revolutionary, advocating militant collective action. They were not about this stupid "money is not speech" bullshit. Occupy is working to destroy capital altogether."

But remember that initial AdBusters call to occupy Wall Street? Here's what it said:

what is our equally uncomplicated demand?

The most exciting candidate that we've heard so far is one that gets at the core of why the American political establishment is currently unworthy of being called a democracy: we demand that Barack Obama ordain a Presidential Commission tasked with ending the influence money has over our representatives in Washington. It's time for DEMOCRACY NOT CORPORATOCRACY, we're doomed without it.

Yep, that "stupid "money is not speech" bullshit." Oops, wrong answer, Dishonest Don...

"5,000 arrested, but too small to be a movement"

That one speaks for itself, I think... The circuitous logic and willingness to rationalize away cognitive dissonance astounds, sometimes...

"Racist Walter James Casper III tweeted his endorsement to "occupy wherever you are," and no doubt that means occupying women's reproductive sexual organs, the freakin' morally degenerate progressive criminal!"
"No doubt," Dishonest Donald? According to WHAT?!? Your own creepy morals?

It's bullshit lines like this one that expose Dishonest Donald Douglas for the kind of man he chooses to be. He accuses me of crap like this knowing he has no basis (except perhaps his own morality) by which to do so. The fact that he's making shit up out of whole cloth doesn't stop him for a second, though... He hates, and whatever he has to do to try to destroy his perceived enemies, he'll do without the slightest of qualms. Donald Douglas is a sick dishonest fuck, who lies because it's the only way he can convince himself he's winning. You know it, I know it, and Dishonest Donald Douglas knows it, too. If he had a coherent argument, he wouldn't have to lie.

Next, Dishonest Donald harkens back to his previous attack post, where he cites an article about what the AdBuster guy thinks may be next for the Occupy movement--quick street theater, and short term, non-violent flash protests, rather than the long term occupations of the fall--and Dishonest Don tries to suggest... ...well, I don't know what he's trying to suggest. In his initial posting, it looked like he was trying to say that the article proves racism and anti-Semitism is at the heart of the movement... ...except that the article says no such thing, instead crediting college age kids with being the heart of the movement.

This second time, I have no idea what he's trying to say by citing the article. He says "these people ARE the movement", as though that's supposed to mean something...

OK... these people (the young folks of today, along with some of their older relatives--ARE the movement... But what they're NOT, is racists and anti-Semites. Whatever Dishonest Donald thought he was proving by citing the article twice in as many days, that is what the article actually says.
"The hate-mongering Walter James Casper whines like a spoiled toddler about how "racist" the tea partiers are..."
No, that isn't what I said in that post at all... In fact, I said the exact opposite. (Donald Douglas has poor reading comprehension.) I said Dishonest Don and the Tea Party movement as a whole were NOT responsible for the few racist assholes who held bigoted signs at tea party events. Personal responsibility, not collective guilt. (When you have to willfully misunderstand someone to try to score a political point, you might just as well not bother. The dishonesty is obvious to all...)

Dishonest Donald Douglas can keep on trying, but his attacks, like his arguments, lack substance...

The Dishonest Donald Douglas Doubledown: American Power: Tim Cavanaugh on How Unions Co-opting Occupy Wall Street

Tuesday, December 27, 2011

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Tuesday, December 27, 2011, Part 3

American Power: More Democrat Assploding 'We Are the 99%' Hypocrisy

"Oh, and something assploding hypocrite Walter James Casper III conveniently ignored in his stupidity-induced rejoinder this morning: "American Power: Occupy Wall Street Plans 'American Spring' to Bring U.S. 'One Step Closer to Revolution'" But of course, it's just a "few" on the "fringe" here and there, right? Not representative of anything? Nope. Wrong. The Jew-bashing revolutionary comrades ARE the movement. Democrats are piggy-backing out of pure progressive opportunism, just like racist Walter James Casper III."
At the outset, let me say that Donald Douglas did manage to get at least on fact right in this latest post. It is absolutely true that I failed to anticipate and respond at 7:00 AM eastern to an American Power post that went live at 11:00 AM eastern. For whatever that may be worth to the man (or to you, the reader, in evaluating these posts), Dishonest Donald is absolutely correct. Guilty as charged. I will be sure to jump in the time capsule and respond to whatever future posts Dishonest Donald intends to write about me later, whenever possible. (Mostly, it's pretty simple. Chances are pretty good that the vast majority of his future posts that mention me are going to accuse me of racism, anti-semitism, and/or communism, and will not offer ANY quotes or citations in support of any of those specious allegations... ((This answering posts of the future stuff disn't really all that difficult, after all... It's more or less exactly what I've been doing all along...))

It's kinda hard to tell what Dishonest Donald Douglas is even raving about, this time. Perhaps it is the word "revolution" on the signs in those pictures that has him all in a tizzy. It can't be communism or anti-semitism that has him all a-flutter, because, for all his raving nonsense about both in the post, neither ideology appears in word or by example anywhere in the article to which Dishonest Donald Douglas indirectly links in his post: Watch out, 1%; the kids will be back - Wealth distribution - MSN Money (If he thinks he's showing either--which is what the words of this post kinda suggests--he's flat out lying. His article doesn't say anything about "Jew-bashing revolutionary comrades." In fact, the article describes the folks involved in the Occupy movement not as racists, anti-semites, or communists, but as the nation's young people. At least as far as this article is concerned, the people that Dishonest Donald Douglas is calling "Jew-bashing revolutionary comrades" are your high school and college age children. Dishonest Donald Douglas has found his enemy, and they are his students and their friends at Long Beach City College. No wonder the guy is so friggin' unhappy all of the time. He hates the very people he serves in his job.

Rather than proving that Dishonest Donald's claims of racist, anti-Semitic communists are true, the article supports what I said in an earlier post regarding the demands of the Occupy movement:
"(A) 'Robin Hood' tax on all financial transactions and currency trades; a ban on high-frequency 'flash' trading; the reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act to again separate investment banking from commercial banking; a constitutional amendment to revoke corporate personhood and overrule Citizens United; a move toward a 'true cost' market regime in which the price of every product reflects the ecological cost of its production, distribution and use;" and they are in favor of "perhaps even the birth of a new, left-right hybrid political party that moves America beyond the Coke vs. Pepsi choices of the past."
No communism. Nobody lining up for ovens. Just fundamental financial and electoral regulations designed to make the economic and political playing field more fair for more of the American people. Folks are tired of watching Democracy and our legislatures sold to the highest bidder. The kids--and a whole lot of their older relatives, as well--are demanding that our corporate-financed political system get an overhaul.

One almost has to wonder whether Dishonest Donald Douglas actually read the article, or whether he just took the word of his weaselly zipper headed friend that it said something bad about their shared enemy--today's youth, and tomorrow's future--and posted it without ever bothering to look at it. "Jew-bashing revolutionary comrades"? Dishonest Donald Douglas has got to be fucking kidding...

Time since last Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-out/Lie of the day: 2 hours. And that's just fuckin' pathetic...

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Tuesday, December 27, 2011, part 2

"Speaking of hypocrites, see: 'Christmas Smear: MSNBC Hack Ed Schultz Slurs Tea Partiers as 'Sewer Rats' — Assploding Hypocrite W. James Casper Hardest Hit!'" - American Power: Whoo Hoo! Michelle Fields Calls Out Hypocrite Statists on Tax Hikes for 'Patriotic Millionaires'
Back to the simple-minded non-sequiter goodness of the bullshit gratuitous mention, I see...

Dishonest Donald Douglas hates it when the facts obliterate his lame-ass lying posts.

Time since Dishonest Donald Douglas' previous lash-out/lie: 9 hours (Record for shortest time, so far.)

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Tuesday, December 27, 2011

Another day, another Dishonest Donald Douglas attack post full of lies...

American Power: Occupy Wall Street: Anti-Semitism, Socialism, Crime and Public Defecation

Following up on my earlier entries: "Occupy Wall Street and the Jews," and "Christmas Smear: MSNBC Hack Ed Schultz Slurs Tea Partiers as 'Sewer Rats' — Assploding Hypocrite W. James Casper Hardest Hit!"

Walter James Casper III continues the lies and distortions, claiming that, for some reason, for him to be called out for his racist, anti-Semitic support for the criminal Occupy Wall Street movement isn't "politics." Nope. Wrong. It's political --- and criminal, and socially deviant, and deranged.

If Dishonest Don was quoting me saying something racist or anti-semitic in conjunction with the occupy movement, (or anything else) our pipsqueak propagandist might have a point. But all he's doing is linking to the few anti-semitic (or illegal, or immoral) incidents that occurred at or near occupy sites--the perpetrators of which for the most part were just strangers on the street, not long-time liberal activists with any connection to occupy or any other movement--and pretending that these few people and/or incidents represent the thinking of every single person who attended or in any way supports any portion of the occupy movement. And like I said before, that kind of sweeping generalization is obviously, blatantly dishonest. These incidents represent the exceptions in otherwise peaceful protests... And while Dishonest Donald claims ignorance--one has to be willfully stupid to believe some of the things he claims to believe in these posts--Donald knows it just as well as everyone else does. In any group of 1000, there's probably going to be a few bigots and assholes. But finding five and pretending that they speak for the thousand--not to mention everyone on the internet that voices any support for the movement as a whole, besides--is just plum stupid.

Donald isn't calling me out for anything (though yeah, he does seem to believe he is, via some magic power of transitive guilt, or something...) The fact is, I am no more responsible for what some asshole says at a protest or in a video than I am for what some asshole posts on the American Power blog.

I don't blame Dishonest Donald Douglas or the tea party movement as a whole for the bigotry of a few of his tea party friends:

He is not them, and does not share the guilt for their bigotry, even though he posts in support of the tea party movement. (The only bigotry Dishonest Donald is responsible for is his own.)

Here's the whining man-child prevaricating like a blithering freak:
Even when he does use social or political terms, their denotative and connotative definitions bear no resemblance to what I stand for politically or socially. For Donald, there is no difference between calling someone a communist or racist, and calling that person a fuckwad. As used by Dishonest Don, these political and social labels are nothing more that ad hominem insults and rhetorical ejaculations.
These are like the rants of a child who's been busted for stealing down at the local drugstore. The manager calls the parents and the child caught red-handed mumbles as if he didn't know that stealing was wrong.

A good try, but Dishonest Donald's analogy is way off... No one is busting me (or the occupy movement) for anything... Donald is catching one kid in a drugstore stealing, and then declaring that everyone in his school--and everyone on his Facebook page, too--is also guilty of stealing, by association.

Stupid?
Yeah.

Bullshit?
Absolutely.

These are the specious lies and guilt-by-association propaganda Dishonest Donald Douglas regularly traffics in.
Walter James Casper III is a racist who has endorsed the Occupy Wall Street program, tweeting "Occupy wherever you are."
Dishonest Don still believes that his claiming I'm a racist actually proves it. He'll only tell you what he wants you to think and believe; He'll never show you the facts and let you judge for yourself. You ought to ask him why (but failing that, you ought to at least ask yourself why.)

To date Walter James Casper has chosen to lash out in anger rather than explain why in the world he would endorse a movement that is anti-capitalist, anti-American, and anti-Jew.

Is Dishonest Donald really trying to throw my "lash out" charge back at me, as though he's not the one initiating these attack posts? Since Thanksgiving, every one of my posts here has been in response to some crazy shit he's tried to sell, without proof... The facts are available to anyone willing or wanting to check...

As for occupy, it isn't any of the things Dishonest Donald is claiming it is... Until he shows why he's making the charges in the first place, there's nothing there worth responding to... Why spend paragraphs "proving" the moon isn't made of cheese, when the guy making the claim hasn't seen fit to bring a hunk of moon cheese with him in support of his claims... ANY ASSHOLE can make wild claims... They have to back them with something more than the claim itself to be taken seriously, however...

By exhorting people to Occupy wherever they are --- a literally global statement of solidarity --- Walter James Casper has given approval and sanction to all the horrible acts of rape and violence, property destruction and public defection, and racist eliminationism --- acts all in the name of the Occupy program. THAT IS where Walter James Casper stands "politically or socially."

That's nonsense. That's like saying everyone who supports sending criminals to prison (or to any major US city, for that matter) supports their being raped or killed there. Murder happens, even in the O.C.... but that doesn't mean living or working in the O.C. makes you a murderer. Sweeping generalizations like these just make Donald sound stupid.

Again, these crimes--to the extent that they actually happened at occupy protests in the first place, which is in question--are the exceptions, and not what many occupiers were perpetrating or falling victim to. Dishonest Donald is lying, and not even well.

This is what the movement is about.

Sorry, Don.

The movement is about income inequality, joblessness, and ways to make the system (financial, and electoral) more fair. Money is not speech. Corporations are not people. Equitable taxation, where everyone above poverty wages pays their fair share on all they earn. The people should have more political power and access than those who can pay for it. Politicians and their votes shouldn't be for sale.

The solutions may (or may not be) complicated, but understanding the problems should be far more simple than Dishonest Donald is pretending they are... (at least, one HOPES he's pretending...)

Progressives justify the hate by attacking the non-existent 1%.

There is no hate. Just disagreement (and only some--many in the 1% actually support the occupy movement) over the actual value of their paying more in taxes.

By his refusal to even address what's been repeatedly pointed out and documented, Walter James Casper III acts no differently than a petulant child who refuses to take responsibility for his actions --- which is exactly what the occupiers do, blame everyone for their problems but themselves.

Dishonest Donald has repeatedly failed to show you the actions of mine he takes issue with. Instead, he holds me responsible for the words and deeds of folks who live in the same town as me, or work in the same building as I do, or might vote for the same candidate for president as me. I'll gladly take responsible for my own actions, but not the actions of everyone who ever voted for a particular candidate or party. Donald isn't showing you anything I've done; He's showing you what some guy I never even met or heard of did, and trying to make me responsible for HIS actions.

After launching a hate blog, recruiting progressives to harass my work and threaten my means to earn a living, after sponsoring and defending racist white-supremacist statements at an attack blog and in comment threads elsewhere, and now after endorsing on Twitter the Occupy Wall Street movement...

Talk about crying WAAAHHH!!!

There is no "hate blog"... There is only this one, where folks talk about the attacks Donald has made against them and others, and yes, laugh at Dishonest Donald a whole lot, as well.

And obviously, all the rest is just more of Dishonest Donald's crazy, specious whining...
I'm not responsible for any Workplace Harassment. No matter how hard Donald tries, he cannot substantiate his silly "RAAAAACIST!!!" bleatings with anything more than repeating the word over and over, in the hope that some damned fool will believe him just because he says it, and he's Dishonest Donald Douglas. He's just making shit up... It's all he has, and all he does.

I do pity the guy, however... He actually thinks folks care what he has to say about me... He thinks they don't see right through him... (If only he saw the e-mail I've been receiving, wondering what the fuck is wrong with him... ...or my most common answer in reply, saying I wish I knew...)

Anyway, here's my comment in response:

And a special Merry Christmas for poor pathetic Dishonest Donald Douglas... (L-O/L of the Day for Saturday, December 24, 2011 -- UPDATED 12/26)

...who has never met a holiday he doesn't love just shitting his hate all over...

American Power: Occupy Wall Street and the Jews

"Walter James Casper III has to answer for his ugly endorsement of the hate. Walter James Casper III has endorsed the anti-Semitism of the Occupy movement. Add this on top of his anti-black racist sentiments and the sponsorship of hatred at his blog under "free speech" pretenses, and it's beyond clear the depths of evil this man will go to destroy decent people, Jews and racial minorities especially, because they don't toe the collectivist line."

I feel very bad for poor Donald... While the rest of us are preparing to enjoy time with family and friends, Dishonest Don is spewing his hate at everyone with whom he disagrees. He can't even stop himself long enough to experience any joy...

It was bullshit the first time Dishonest Donald Douglas tried this sweeping generalization nonsense, about the Occupy movement or anything else, and it's bullshit now. Blaming every occupier for what ANY occupier said or did is just stupid... Doing it repeatedly, as though it sounds any smarter the third, fifth, or twelfth time one says it, is the definition of crazy. There is no endorsement for anti-Semitism in anything I've ever written, and certainly not in a tweet saying "Occupy wherever you are." As usual, Donald Douglas is making shit up, and then tossing his specious allegations into the wind and hoping they stick to something. It's a desperate move, by a desperate man.

Be gone, dishonest Don... Spend some time with your wife and children, and stop vomiting your hate for those who don't agree with you all over the internet... at least until the 26th... Baby Jesus and His creation can do without your nonsense for a day or two... Really. Except for a few of your sycophants and fellow travelers, the world can do without all this hateful nonsense, especially on Christmas eve. (or Thanksgiving. Or Easter, for that matter.)

So yeah... Merry Chrismas to Dishonest Donald Douglas, and to all his fellow haters, too. Let's hope Santa brings 'em all cleaner souls, and maybe a little more heart.

Time since Dishonest Don's previous lash-out/lie: 3 days, 16 hours (another record, by two whole hours.)

Fuckin' sad that I couldn't leave this blog sitting quiet for Christmas on the far happier notes of the post below. Dishonest Don leaves everything he touches a little worse for the experience... ...and that's just sad for all concerned...

UPDATE, 12/26, 12:30 AM (or so): The famous Dishonest Donald Douglas Doubledown: American Power: Christmas Smear: MSNBC Hack Ed Schultz Slurs Tea Partiers as 'Sewer Rats' — Assploding Hypocrite W. James Casper Hardest Hit!

Walter James Casper III got all butthurt for being called out as a rabid anti-Semite --- and that's on top of his history of sponsoring white supremacist hate rantings at his attack blog. Racist Repsac3 is whining about how "poor Donald" is so hateful --- HATEFUL, WAAAHHH!! --- but the idiot never has a word of condemnation for his sick puppy progressive allies, like loser Ed Schultz who slurred good people AS A GROUP just days before Christmas. That's bigotry.

Frankly, politics doesn't stop for the holidays, but if you're a pathetic racist anti-Semitic Occupy-endorsing Jew-bashing neo-commie, it's par for the course. Freakin' assploding hypocrite bigot. Walter James Casper III is despicable.

There's nothing in this post that wasn't in Dishonest Donald Douglas' previous attack... Dishonest Donald spent his Christmas making shit up about folks he hates--mainly me, for reasons known only to Donald himself (but whatever the reason for his hard-on for me may be, the guy has it BAD... Two posts lashing out at me in the space of 12 hours, and on Christmas eve, no less... Donald obviously has some kinda problem...).

Nothing he says about me in either of his Christmas Eve posts is true, as evidenced by the fact that for all his whining, Donald fails to back a single one of his allegations with even the slightest bit of supporting evidence. Whether it's because Donald thinks so little of his readership or so much of himself, I cannot say... But the fact remains that he seems to think that his saying a thing makes it so, and offering evidence in support is simply not necessary.

And, while Donald seems to think that what he's doing in these posts is "politics," his posts about me are nothing more than specious lies offered as personal attack, not politics. And while this verbal masturbation seems to please Donald (and perhaps one or two of his most ardent followers) it adds nothing to the conversation. Whether he screams "nihilist!!!" or "shithead,!!!" Dishonest Donald Douglas isn't saying anything about anyone besides himself.

The sad fact is, somewhere along the line I hurt Dishonest Donald Douglas' feelings, and these lash-out posts are his attempts at getting revenge and soothing his wounded ego.

All I can say is I feel very sorry for the guy, and hope that he can spend the next family holiday sharing himself with the folks who love him, rather than obsessing over internet strangers who don't. (Lord knows I barely gave Dishonest Don a thought since I first made this post, somewhere in the neighborhood of 41 hours ago... Whatever his holiday attack posts suggest about Donald and his obsession with me, Dishonest Donald and his specious allegations aren't worth much of a thought in general, and especially not during family / religious holidays... YMMV...

Merry Christmas 2011

I became aware of these two videos within 24 hours of each other, and they both make me smile...

At first I envisioned some kinda east coast <--> west coast chick singin' let it all hang out goofy Christmas song video rivalry, like them rappers used to have... (That is what them rappers used to have, isn't it?!?)

But the fact is, I'd much rather see 'em workin' together, sometime, somewhere... I think they're both phenomenal talents, and I urge anyone unfamiliar to get to know these performers better... (Obviously, this isn't their best work, but for what they are, these videos are pretty great...)

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Tuesday, December 20, 2011

I knew he couldn't last... He'd been seething in post after post, spreading hateful ad hom like butter on toast: "America-hating market-killing left," "one of the left's premiere dishonest spin masters and lie merchants, Steve "Buttfreak" Benen,", "progressive terror enablers", "the idiots of the neo-communist blogosphere, for example, here's epic airhead Barbara O'Brien at Mahablog," "That would be "Wall Street Journal," you stupid piece of scum. And your ignorance is what's "bullshit.,'" "There's more of teh stupid, from Steve M. at No More Mister Nice Blog," "Read it all --- and weep, you ASFL progressive d-bags!"... And that's just from today...

So this is no surprise:
American Power: Claire Potter, Radical Lesbian History Professor at Wesleyan, Can't Comprehend Shot of "Veritas" Between the Eyes

And note something: Althouse hadn't read the ostensibly offending comment, but she removed it when she found that Professor Potter thought it offensively sexist. And that's because Althouse is a good and decent woman. Progressives, on the other hand, are not decent. These sick f-king racists routinely attack conservatives with the most vile bigotry, and they twist contortions to deny the patently obvious racism spouted in their own comments. They sponsor racism, hatred, workplace harassment and intimidation, and make personal threats against those whom they despise. Yeah, progressives suck like that, and the news is spreading.
---
The link goes to Dishonest Donald Douglas' whining butthurt post about a comment made here at AmNi by "ThePaleScot," a year ago October, who suggested that Donald was the "anti-Johnny Winters," and went on to say "By all figuring John should be an accordion playing polka junkie, but life intervened." Of course the first thing Dishonest Donald sees in the comment is RAAAAACISM!!!, and screeds away... (...repeatedly, since this happened that October day in 2010. Talk about butthurt...)

And my answers to his screeds are always the same, too...

I don't believe the comment is RAAAAACIST!!! like Dishonest Donald does (or pretends to, anyway...)

and

I don't delete comments that folks find offensive, in any case; I leave them posted so that the folks who read them can be offended and respond as they see fit, and so that the folks who make them have to own up to their own ugliness. Sometimes--like Dishonest Donald, himself--I even write new posts highlighting posts and comments I find offensive, exposing the original author to even more scrutiny.

And this bit, first posted November 27th and reposted about a week ago, bears repeating yet again:

As near as I can figure it, Donald's racism charge, first launched after I called him out for bigoted posts like these, amounts to the following:

1) I didn't believe a comment made about Donald Douglas' celtic-sounding name and "swarthy" complexion was racist...

2) I called a black man a clown because I disagreed with something he said...

and

3) I said that it is not racist to mention--or even talk about--race... ...and as an example, said that it would not be racist for another professor to describe Dr. Douglas as "a grey-haired black man wearing a blue suit with a red tie, who was likely to be dining in the south quad cafeteria at this hour" to a new student or professor who had never met the man. Apparently, taking any notice of skin color or other "racial" feature is evidence that one judges people based on their ethnic or racial background. (And lest there be any confusion, this was a part of Donald's comment in reply: "...you welcome people who see me first as a black man and not a man." Yeah... Really.)
(I'll obviously have to add my response to the Johnny Winter bit, but this seems to be the whole of Dishonest Donald Douglas' RAAAACIST charge against me...)

The rest ("workplace harassment and intimidation", "personal threats against those whom they despise", ...) have all been thoroughly responded to at this blog many, many times before.

Donald Douglas is a liar. It's that simple.

Donald Douglas Named "Dear Leader" of North Korea

After interviews with North Korea's most powerful generals, it was decided that deceased dear leader, Kim Jung Il's boy, Kim Jung Un, wasn't sufficiently closed minded and shitheaded enough to be the next Dear Leader. The job has been offered to the only man capable of living up to the level of dictatorial shitheadedness that Kim Jung Il achieved. That man according to North Korean officials is Professor Donald Douglas.

"We wanted a man who was easily offended. Believed he was always correct even when faced with irrefutable evidence that he is wrong. And single mindedly capable of making up shit to persecute those who piss him off by exposing his shitheadedness as Donald persecutes Repsac" according to sources who said they knew what was going on in North Korea.

As Donald Douglas' appointed Minister of Hate, I have authorized the official American Nihilist Joy Brigade to march in Donald's inaugural parade starting at Long Beach Community College and proceeding across the Douglas/Jung Il bridge spanning the Pacific to Pyongyang.

Bertha and Donetta will be riding with Professor Douglas in the official North Korean presidential 1965 Ford Galaxy.

Donald Douglas. Dear Leader! hail to the chief!

Dishonest Donald Douglas Day of Rest?

For those eagerly awaiting the next verse in Dishonest Donald Douglas' 12 days of repsac, he appears to've taken Sunday off, at least as far as I was concerned. (He tossed a lot of hate at others in several posts, yesterday--a guy who lashes out on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas morning--and defends doing so--isn't going to let a little thing like the christian sabbath stop him from pumping out the bile--but my name was not on the list of folks at whom he lashed out.)

There's little chance this respite from Dishonest Donald Douglas' daily bullshit storm will last however, and posts in the "the Dishonest Donald Douglas lash-out / lie of the day" series will continue as soon as Donald's hateful obsession gets the better of him. (I can't count this one as a "lash-out/lie" post because at best, I'm responding to something Dishonest Don didn't do. And while there is some precedent for that (same link as above, ironically), we here at American Nihilist know our offense from our defense and, unlike the posts in the "lash-out/lie" series, this isn't a defensive post in response to an unprovoked and specious attack.)

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Saturday, December 17, 2011

Come Saturday, Dishonest Donald Douglas is back to his usual one or two line gratuitous mention of my name in a post ostensibly about a different topic. Today's specious mention, shoehorned into the post American Power: Occupy Wall Street: A Movement Custom-Designed to Make Democrat-Socialists Look Like a Bunch of Freaks, follows:

"Yep, that's exactly movement that James Walter "Occupy" Casper III endorsed with his exhortation: "Occupy wherever you are." Freakin' scumbag.

Criminal Hatesac3's even more stupid than the doltish union idiot at the video. Man, Cavuto reams her a new one. That's gotta hurt.

Winning!"
There really isn't much here to even respond to--he's still talkin', but still not sayin' anything --though his Charlie Sheen reference does fit ol' Dishonest Don's temperament and general style these days to a T, don't it? One pathetically sad laughingstock clinging to another for support-- but I did want to note his daily dose of obsession, regardless...
---

Time since Dishonest Don's previous lash-out/lie: 29 hours.

(First time this week Dishonest Donald Douglas has exceeded 24 hours... Must be the weekend...)
---

While folks like Donald Douglas seem eager to hide what those he disagrees with have to say by moderating his comment sections for content and limiting the number of verbatim quotes, citations, and links he uses when blogging, I want nothing more than to give folks every opportunity to read exactly what Dr. Douglas has to say, in all of it's contextual glory, and thus will quote and link to his exact words as often as I can...

Everyone please, go look at Donald Douglas, and particularly at the post(s) in question. Read everything he has to say. Weigh his arguments--as well as the arguments of those who disagree with him, of course--judge as fairly as your conscience allows you to, and come to your own conclusions.

I ask for nothing more.

And I ask for nothing less.

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Friday, December 16, 2011

Forget those crazy gratuitous mentions in posts that're ostensibly about some other topic... For his Friday attack, Dishonest Don wrote a whole post in furtherance of his odd obsession with me. (And make no mistake, kiddies... There was a time when this blog used to be on the offensive, critiquing posts he had written about other subjects... ...but all we ever seem to do these days is respond to direct attacks from Dishonest Donald Douglas. For all his blather and bullshit, he's lashing out daily, and then whining like a stuck polecat when we respond... The "obsession" these days is all from Dishonest Donald Douglas.)

And away we go... Dishonest Donald Douglas' Lash-outs and Lies of the day:
American Power: Walter James 'Occupy' Casper Continues Campaign of Lies: Childishly Whines About 'McCarthyism' While Endorsing Anarchists and Anti-Semitic Communists

Now, let's get one thing clear at the outset, just to get a feel for how far off the deep end ol' Dishonest Don is sinking in his effort to smear. In my response to Dishonest Donald's lash outs and lies yesterday, I name-checked Joe McCarthy one time at the very end of the post, as a snarky reply to Donald's unsubstantiated claim of "Demo-Commies" in elected office. There was no whining, and I never once used the term "McCarthyism."

In response, Dishonest Donald Douglas wrote a 1350 word post, the title of which appears above. 832 words of it is a rousing defense of Joe McCarthy. (To be fair, most of that 832 word defense--695 words of it, to be exact--was cut 'n' pasted from a 2003 Jonah Goldberg piece.) 'nuff said.

So, I'm probably not going to address much of Jonah Goldberg's argument, because it's a straw man, at least as it applies to me. Donald alleged there are communists in the Democratic party serving as elected officials, and I basically said "alert Joe McCarthy." No whining, and no allegations of McCarthyism, except in Donald's imagination. (Perhaps if I have the time and the inclination, I'll read up on how many actual communist spies (and for that matter, actual communists who weren't spies, but identified with one or another Marxist ideal they read in a book, somewhere) Joe McCarthy was responsible for finding and capturing, vs how many he accused all together, and how many of those folks Joe & co. couldn't sustain a charge against. (Like it or don't, we're still a nation of laws, and folks are still presumed innocent until actually found guilty. It ain't perfect--think OJ--but it's the best we have.)

I will say this, though... One of the things Dishonest Don cannot seem to admit is that not every communist then or now supported the pogroms of Josef Stalin; intellectuals who sat around arguing about the ideal form of communism--some ideal world where there was no authoritarianism, and everyone was his brother's/neighbor's/fellow American's keeper--may well have been wrong and misguided... ...but they were not and are not dangerous. As with all things, there are degrees, and pretending that "communist" is or ever was a synonym for "Stalinist" or "Authoritarian" in all cases is bullshit fear mongering of the highest order. It's as though thinking that Communism was a good idea was the crime, not actually, y'know, committing a crime.

Or, to put it another way (from one of Dishonest Don's own links): "While McCarthy did identify some Communists who managed to escape the net, he also began to investigate and pillory many who were in no way connected with the Soviets as agents, spies, or couriers. He often failed to distinguish between actual Communists, fellow-travelers, and anti-Communist liberals and social-democrats. It was enough for him to know that they were critical of his methods and tactics: That made them as good as Communists. Many of these people were indeed Communists, fellow-travelers, or dupes. But they were not engaged in any activity except that of public pronouncements that could be accepted or rejected on their merits. Nothing in the area of their work made them a security risk." (And yes, the analogy today is being Muslim, vs being an islamic terrorist.) Some people do commit crimes based on their political or religious beliefs... but it doesn't follow that their political or religious beliefs are themselves therefore criminal. When people refer to "McCarthyism," or "McCarthyite tactics," it is Joe's indiscriminate targeting of anyone he perceived to be an enemy and the inability or unwillingness to see anything but black hats or white hats--loyal Americans or enemies, based on political philosophy or religion--that they're generally talking about. (Remind you of anyone we know?)

With that said, on to Dishonest Don's lash-outs and lies of the day...
My criminal stalker Walter James "Occupy" Casper III, a.k.a. "Hatesac3", continues to harass me and this blog with comments --- on top of his recent cyber threats to my family --- despite being banned long ago. This post is to record some key evidence in Walter James "Occupy" Casper's continuing campaign to undermine the foundations of the country with a clandestine Marxist program of communist subterfuge.
No, I'm still not a criminal... if Donald wants to credibly make that allegation, he's going to have to name the specific law I've broken, and perhaps call a cop. Until then, it's just him whining about things he obviously cannot prove.

As for the "stalking" and "harassment," that's just Donald-speak for people he disagrees with who submit comments to his blog posts without his express permission. Yeah, he did tell me I'm banned, and yeah, I do (sometimes) submit a comment to those posts on his blog where he talks about me, even though I know it makes his heart hurt. Cry me a river... Given all his lies, I just don't have time for Drama Queen Donald, too. Dishonest Donald needs to grow a pair, and stop whining because I submit comments to his moderated blog when he posts about me... or any other time, either.

The allegations of threats to his family are fiction. There have been no cyber threats to any member of his family by me or anyone I know. Donald Douglas is lying.

As to my "continuing campaign to undermine the foundations of the country with a clandestine Marxist program of communist subterfuge," it's apparently so clandestine that Dishonest Don cannot quote or cite a single example of what he's talking about where I am concerned. Lotta talk, but not a whole lot of substance.
To put it plainly, "Hatesac3" can't stand the fact that today's Democrat Party is a socialist party with a large number of members in government who have allied with --- and provided aid and comfort to --- real live communists in furtherance of an ideological agenda that continues to shift this country away from its founding as a classically liberal democracy.
Is there anyone here that thinks Dishonest Donald Douglas will back any of these accusations with documented facts? Of course not... Lotta talk, not a lot of substance.

Look, if Dishonest Don believes that today's Democrat [sic] party is a socialist party, all Donald needs to do is define his terms, and cite specifics. (This is something Donald very seldom--if ever--does, however.) Socialism means a specific thing, and it isn't "anything to the left of the Republic party, politically." Dishonest Donald can accuse anyone of anything he likes... but if all he offers is his blather, there's no reason anyone need believe him or take him seriously. The ability to form words and sentences in no way implies the necessity that those sentences express truth. It's baby simple to make some crazy allegation. The hard part--the part Dishonest Donald Douglas consistently fails to even attempt to do--is to prove one's allegations and accusations have merit.

The Democratic party has a platform. It's in writing and everything. I've no doubt that socialist and communist parties, both here in America and elsewhere, ALSO have documented pillars, goals, and plans. Democrats (and communists and socialists, too) say and do things that either do or do not match the platform or pillars of the Democratic, Communist, or Socialist party. If Donald wants to name any of these "large number of members [Democrats] in government who have allied with --- and provided aid and comfort to --- real live communists," and actually show whatever documentation he'd offering, that would be one thing... But all Dishonest Donald ever does is make wild-eyed allegations, and ignore all requests for proof, pleading that "everyone knows, or should know." It's bandwagoneering bullshit, plain and simple.
"After a long rambling post of incoherent denials about the fundamental anarcho-communism and anti-Semitism riddled throughout the Occupy movement..."
Sorry, Donald... Very little of my last post was about communism or anti-semitism. in fact, this was about it:
"As for Donald's other specious charge, anti-semitism, that's just bullshit on it's face. Donald is just flat out lying, and the fact that he fails to even attempt to support the lie should be all the proof one needs to see. Alleging the moon is cerise pink doesn't make it so, anymore than Dishonest Don accusing his many enemies (or even just one) of anti-semitism does.

The only folks who seem thrilled by the few anti-semitic attacks there have been at/around Occupy protests are the conservatives posting and regurgitating videos of them on their blogs and shriekingly accusing every Occupier of being just like this one guy (when generally, the video in question shows other Occupiers ignoring the guy, if not outright arguing against his bigotry.)"
Short, sweet, to the point. I guess I could've made my discussion of Donald's anti-semitism allegation shorter, if these few sentences were too hard for ol' Dishonest Don to follow:

Bullshit.

Let's hope that's not too "incoherent" for him to understand.
"Joe McCarthy investigated communists in government. McCarthy was right. He may have gone overboard, but the facts show that real communists had infiltrated the United States government. They were directed by Moscow and they were causing real damage to national security. Again, not all those accused by McCarthy were deemed national security threats, but when progressives throw out the "McCarthyism" card they're deceptively and malignantly casting a smokescreen in front of their support for Marxist-Leninist ideologies and goals. This is sinister. And that is why Walter James "Occupy" Casper continues his attempts hide behind the "McCarthyism" smear while working underground to destroy his political enemies through multifarious smear jobs, campaigns of workplace harassment and threats to freedom of speech, as well as cyber threats to the families of his enemies."
No, when progressives throw out the "McCarthyism" charge they're saying that the person they're accusing is going overboard, accusing and investigating thousands in the hope of finding ten. They're accusing that person or group of fear-mongering, creating distrust for one's neighbors, and generally doing more harm than good, both to individuals and to our American values, in the process.

And again... Dishonest Donald can allege "support for Marxist-Leninist ideologies and goals" until he's blue in the face, but until he backs the allegation with something more substantial than his say-so, he might just as well not bother talking. He's offering no evidence.

"multifarious smear jobs" - Quoting Donald, and explaining why much of what he says isn't worth the electrons with which his screeds are printed?

"campaigns of workplace harassment" - Sadly no, Donald. I have never engaged in any campaign of workplace harassment. Donald Douglas is lying.

"threats to freedom of speech" - Threats to freedom of speech? (This is a new one, and I haven't the foggiest clue what Dishonest Donald is referring to, here...) As far as I can tell, Donald Douglas is free to blow his horn of bullshit anywhere he wishes, including here at this blog. The only thing Dishonest Don not free to do, is avoid having folks tell him and the world how sour his notes sound, and how bad his playing is, when he does blow that horn of bullshit plenty.

"cyber threats to the families of his enemies" - Another Donald Douglas lie. No matter how many times he repeats it, it still never happened.

Donald can make accusations... but he does not--and cannot--back them up with any evidence. (Lets face it... EVERYTHING that has ever gone on between Donald Douglas and I has taken place in print, online. If I did it, there should be evidence of it. That he refuses to disclose ANY should tell you all you need to know.)
"Walter James "Occupy" Casper III is ready to attack his enemies as "McCarthyites" while malignantly turning his eyes from the horrors of tens of millions killed in the name of the very ideology he's pushing."
I suppose I might attack somebody as a "McCarthyite" somewhere, sometime... but so far, I haven't... but Donald STILL hasn't shown--y'know, with evidence and examples, I mean--the ideology I'm pushing, let alone whether that particular ideology is responsible for the death of anyone. Lotta talk, not a lot of substance.

Donald follows this with a quote of and link to accusations David Horowitz makes about Barbara Lee... ...and you know what? There's no documentation there, either. Just David Horowitz doin' the same kinda substance free talking on his site that Donald did in this post... ...and does pretty regularly at American Power.

The bottom line on Dishonest Donald Douglas is, I call BULLSHIT.

Show your hand, Donald, or admit that all you have to offer is the one lonely old and faded joker before us.

We feel sorry for ya Donald... but you are who you are. When push comes to shove, you're all hat, no cattle. You talk, talk, talk, but you never say anything. Without backing evidence, all your allegations and accusations might just as well be farts in a windstorm. You're nothing but a liar, and you kinda suck at it, besides.

Put up or shut up, Dr. Douglas.
---

Time since Dishonest Don's previous lash-out/lie: 24 hours, on the nose.

Dishonest Donald Douglas is a lying sack of shit... ...and day by day, post by slimy post, he proves it for all the world to see...

(The least he could do is get creative, and blame me for bombing the World Trade Center in 93, or being "patient zero" for AIDS, or something... I mean, if he's lying his fool ass off anyway, why not go to town? Somebody kidnapped that Lindbergh baby... Maybe it was me. Do we really know who killed Laura Palmer, or who shot JR? I just might be the man... Come on, Don... If you're going to lie, at least lie better.)

---
((Of course, there is another possibility that I hadn't considered up to now... This may just be a clever ploy...))

Kevin, it's possible that Dishonest Don might want you to find him a picture of Joe McCarthy, shirtless, to add to his collection of "stroke victims," if ya know what I mean...

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Thursday, December 15, 2011

In the post American Power: Democrats Backing Away from Occupy Wall Street, ostensibly about the cancellation of a meeting between representatives of the Occupy movement and the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Dishonest Donald Douglas slips in this fantasist bullshit about yours truly:
"Obviously not all Demo-Commies are backing away from these drug addicts, murderers and rapists. Walter James "Occupy" Casper aggressively defends the movement, whining about how it wouldn't be fair to brand all the movement's supporters as criminals and communists. No doubt Racist Repsac3 is especially thrilled by Occupy's anti-Semitic attacks on Jewish bankers."

Obviously, Dishonest Don "shirtless Newton gets me HAWT!!" Douglas refuses to back away from making shit up to soothe his ginormous wounded ego. (Avert the eyes, kiddies... Avert the eyes...) As usual, Ol' Don fails to provide anything in the way of quotes or other evidence for his accusations, expecting folks to just trust him because... well, because he's Dishonest Donald Douglas, I guess.

Harkening back to an old chestnut of Dishonest Donald Douglas--his"denial is demonic" gambit, (wherein saying that a dishonest accusation like the ones he recently made are untrue is "DENIAL," and therefore EVIL)--Dishonest Don accuses me of "aggressively" defending the movement against sweeping generalizations like the one he makes above. The facts are irrelevant; it's the denial that makes one demonic. (or something...)

I think I may have made such a "blasphemous denial" somewhere, but only because the accusations Dishonest Don and some of his Con playmates have been making are plainly untrue, but I kinda doubt it was "aggressive," either in content or quantity.

Many of the so-called "Occupy" infractions Dishonest Don lists turn out to be made by folks who don't necessarily support the movement, but just want a warm meal and a relatively safe place to sleep. Whether intentional or not, the policing (or lack of it) by the movement itself did permit all kinds of people, with all kinds of histories and backgrounds, to stay at or visit the Occupy camps. I have not read of a single case where a person with a liberal activist history has even been charged with being the perpetrator of one of Don's murders, rapes or drug addicted accusations. There may be one or two somewhere --EVERY group has it's bad actors, from liberal activists to televangelists to football coaches to elected and unelected Republicans and conservatives-- but so far, I haven't seen a single case where any liberal activist from an Occupy movement has been charged with murder, rape, or similar serious violent crime. In every case I'm aware of where someone has been caught, it has turned out to be a member of the general public, homeless, or with a criminal history --and in at least one case Cons cite, a person who had never even been to the camp, and whose crime was committed a few blocks away-- that has been the perpetrator.

As for Donald's other specious charge, anti-semitism, that's just bullshit on it's face. Donald is just flat out lying, and the fact that he fails to even attempt to support the lie should be all the proof one needs to see. Alleging the moon is cerise pink doesn't make it so, anymore than Dishonest Don accusing his many enemies (or even just one) of anti-semitism does.

Quod gratis affirmatur, gratis negatur. An accusation offered free of evidence doesn't even require rebuttal. (Of course, if folks actually followed that bit of logic, Dishonest Donald Douglas would have no readers aside his few sycophants and fellow travelers... ...and there would be no reason to keep writing these posts.) The only folks who seem thrilled by the few anti-semitic attacks there have been at/around Occupy protests are the conservatives posting and regurgitating videos of them on their blogs and shriekingly accusing every Occupier of being just like this one guy (when generally, the video in question shows other Occupiers ignoring the guy, if not outright arguing against his bigotry.) They can certainly generalize and accuse, these Cons... ...and they do seem thrilled to do it...

Besides... A political science professor who is alleging there are communists in the House and Senate? Communists?!? Somebody call Joe McCarthy...

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Wednesday, December 14, 2011

In the post American Power: Orange County Chick-fil-A Cashier Fired for Racist 'Ching' and 'Chong' Receipts, a post about a cashier at a CA fast food place who typed "Ching" or "Chong" into the name slot on two occasions when she had an Asian customer, Dishonest Donald Douglas tries to gratuitously shoehorn my name into the post and then tell lies about me by adding the following:
I can't believe people like that. But you have to stand up against that kind of racism and bigotry. Unfortunately, progressive racism of the same stripe is pretty common online. I discussed it at Zilla's in the comments regarding the disgusting bigotry of Walter James "Racist" Casper III.
To review, this is what Dishonest Don alleged in that comment section regarding my supposed racism:
Repsac is also racist. He's stated previously that he first identifies people by race or ethnic background then treats them (segregates them) accordingly. I ---- we ---- treat people as individuals with dignity.
Of course he provides no link or quote, leaving folks to either trust him just on his word (which as this blog has repeatedly shown by example and citation, isn't worth shit), or investigate for themselves what the fuck he may be talking (which is to say, lying) about...

This was my response at the time:
(I think what Dishonest Don was/is crying "raaaaacist" about in the comment cited above is the situation discussed/linked to at #3. Unless/until Dishonest Donald Douglas is willing to more specifically pinpoint the conversation he's lying about, I have to assume it's that one...):
-------
* As near as I can figure it, Donald's racism charge, first launched after I called him out for bigoted posts like these, amounts to the following:

Really.)

(Poor Donald couldn't even make it a whole day without lashing out with some kinda lie... It's almost like he's flirting with me... (If I had pigtails, Dishonest Donald Douglas would be sticking them in the inkwell... ...and I gotta say, it's getting really creepy that he cannot seem to control himself...)

Dishonest Donald Douglas Lash-Out/Lie of the Day for Tuesday, December 13, 2011

In the post American Power: Occupy Wall Street to Attend Capitol Hill Meeting Chaired by Congressional Progressive Caucus, Dishonest Donald Douglas gratuitously adds the following:

Real revolutionary communists to meet with real congressional communists, despite the lies of their progressive enablers. See: "Communist REPSAC = CASPER Takes Umbrage?"
While the text contained in Dishonest Don's screengrab at his link pretty much exposes Donald's lie all by itself, I also responded when he first made the post... ...last February. (This was during his "communist as meaningless pseudo-political epithet of the month" phase, and thus everyone and everything he disagreed with became "Communist." Like most of his meaningless epithets, post-"nihilist," it didn't last long...)

The gist was (and is, in this current post, as well) Donald finds a picture or mention of 5-10 individuals representing the American Communist Party or some similar group handing out fliers or whatever at a large liberal rally or protest, and tries to convince folks that their presence conclusively proves everyone at the rally is a closet Marxist or Stalinist.

Another Day, Another Bullshit Gratuitous Mention By Dishonest Donald Douglas

In a post primarily discussing a college professor's run-in with two Muslim students that resulted in the professor's resignation, Dishonest Don appended the following:
"No doubt Walter James "Occupy" Casper III would be down with that "female Muslim student." The dude called for an investigation of Pamela Geller and berates conservative counter-jihad bloggers as racist. For pro-terror progressives like Racist Repsac3, the professor had it coming and he obviously deserved to be out on his ass, pounding the pavement for a job."

Why?

Who the fuck knows...

As I've said before, if you want to know what professor Douglas is up to, the best way is often to watch what he accuses others of doing. The man claims I'm obsessed with him... ...and yet he won't stop lashing out with these nonsensical, counterfactual, gratuitous mentions in posts about other subjects, regardless of whether I write about him--or the subject in question--or not. His fact free suppositions about what he thinks I might believe or maybe would do as regards the main subject of these posts (the strand of thread he uses to drag me into his posts and then lash out at me for whatever dastardly belief or action he's invented for me in a given situation) are not supported by anything but his own fevered, hateful imagination. In most cases I've never even discussed the topic at hand, and even when I have, Donald doesn't quote me, making it far easier to put his words and ideas in my mouth and then attack his made-up bullshit version of what "I" actually said...

I get it... Dishonest Don doesn't like me... Of all the people he's fought with over the last several years, I'm obviously the one he most hates, for reasons known only to Donald himself... ...but dragging me into all these posts based solely on what he guesses I might say or believe about the subject at hand does little more than make ol' Don look pretty desperate to lash out at me. And if he really is so desperate that he's willing to throw these wild drunken punches at me as these bullshit "W James would no doubt..." posts make him seem, I actually feel kinda sorry for the guy...
---

Added, after doing a bit more reading:

As for the subject of the post itself--the resignation of the professor--there seems to be more to the story than Dishonest Donald Douglas was willing to offer.

The professor's blog, Christian Apologetics Project--listed on the syllabus for the class in question--lists Islam, Mormonism, and Jehovah's Witnesses as cults rather than as religions, and reads a whole lot like the average Pamela Geller screed where Islam is concerned. (And for the record, yes, I do believe that Pam Geller is a bigot. The only Muslims she seems to approve of or in any way support are former Muslims or dead ones. She opposes Muslim religious services for US soldiers on military bases, and even at the Pentagon.

I'm fine with folks opposed to the strain of Islam that creates and feeds terrorism... ...but I don't believe that every Muslim is a potential terrorist any more than I believe every person practicing any other religion is... There are millions of Muslims throughout the world, and the vast majority never had and never will have a single "terrorist" thought. Those who fight against mosques, footbaths, religious services, etc, strictly because Muslims will use them are bigots. Pamela Geller--and yes, some of her "anti-Jihad" blogging followers and fellow travelers too--are indeed bigoted against all Muslims (except the ones who converted and the ones who are dead, of course.)

This news story (non-Fox, not Con blogger) paint a more nuanced picture of the situation: TCC Disputes That Professor Was Forced Out For His Beliefs - CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

I don't know what actually happened... (That's what I was trying to determine by googling the story.) But even reading Professor Derengowski's account, it sounds like he's got piss-poor classroom management skills, although--if his account is to be believed--the Muslim students behaved badly, no matter their complaint.

On the other hand, if the professor was teaching the kind of things posted on his website--and again, note that he listed his blog as a resource on the class syllabus, making it more than just his personal opinions on his personal blog--I could see where Muslim students (and Mormon students, and Jehovah's Witness students, and atheist students, too) would have a legitimate complaint against him. And according to the news story above anyway, at least one Muslim student (seemingly not one of the ones who caused the disturbance in class, though the article could be more clear on that point) says he was.

Contrary to Dishonest Don's wild guess, I don't know enough about the story to venture much of an opinion on the whole of the story. Here's what I can say:

I think the professor was right to report the student's threat. One cannot be too careful.

I think the students were right to report what they believed to be classroom bias to college administrators. The e-mail the student sent around was more than likely over the top and inappropriate, though I'd have to know what it actually said to really judge--and no, I'm not willing to take the professor's characterization of it as Gospel truth. I have no problem with anyone on either side speaking out and pleading their case, and to whatever extent the e-mail was an attempt to persuade the other students in the class that Professor Derengowski was teaching in a biased manner, I don't have much of a problem with it... ...just as I don't have a problem with Professor Derengowski telling his side of the story on his blog, essentially trying to persuade others that he was in the right...

And perhaps it is naive of me, but I find it hard to believe that the administrators of the college were biased against him, too. I'm not saying they were right to reprimand him or require that he change how he teaches the course... but I am saying that unlike me (or Dishonest Don, for that matter), they had all the facts before them, and more than likely made a fair and judicious decision based on what they saw and heard.

I generally trust the officials we put in place to judge such things, and believe that even when they do get it wrong, that wrong will be set right further up the chain. I hope the campus police investigated the student's threat, evaluated the seriousness of it, and acted accordingly. The same goes for the college administrators who looked into the student's complaints of bias by Professor Derengowski. I don't know that they were right, but barring evidence to the contrary, I trust that they were, because that is their job. If they were wrong, I hope it gets fixed, somehow. (The fact that the professor voluntarily resigned might make that more difficult, however...)

In the end, Professor Derengowski felt he was being treated poorly and chose to leave... ...but from what I can tell based on what little evidence is available, that wasn't the fault of these Muslim students or some so-called "Terroristic Act of Jihad" (a designation which itself ought to tell the reader something about the professor making the claim--no matter how vehement, arguing with a professor in class, lodging a complaint with his superiors, or even circulating any kind of fact sheet, diatribe, or petition against him via e-mail, are hardly "terrorist" acts); Professor Derengowski made that choice all on his own.
---

Another Update: The more I read, the more I see why our Dr Douglas feels an affinity for Professor Derengowski. Those interested need only follow this link to read the professor's epic 13 page ranting diatribe against the two students who complained about him, in his own words. It is unprofessional, unethical, personally motivated holier-than-thou pompous clap-trap of exactly the sort our Dishonest Don regularly engages in when attacking others on his own blog. (Luckily, Donald has so far managed to keep himself from attacking his own students... ...though if he felt himself backed into a corner as a result of a complaint against him, is there anyone who doubts he would, the same way he's attacked those bloggers who've had the temerity to disagree with him?) A professor who would write a post like this, no matter the reason, almost certainly lacks the temperament and professional ethics required to teach. (And if Dr. Douglas keeps spewing the hate for all who disagree with him the way he has been, it'll likely be just a matter of time for him, as well...) YMMV...

According to Professor Derengowski:
1) the student quoted in the CBS article above was one of the two who lodged the complaint against him, and
2) he quotes portions of the text of the e-mail the female student sent to her classmates in his 13 page diatribe--though, again a lot like Dr. Douglas, he edits it, and intentionally hides her supporting links. (In his post, the quotes are interlaced with his own responses to them, some of which are pretty far "out there..." If you want to get a picture of who Dr. Douglas is defending, I urge you to follow the link (the same one I added above) and read it all, in context.) Judge for yourselves:
“Good morning classmates…
"I am Emailing you all some information that you might find interesting, relating to our World of Religions teacher."
"After the other day in class, I couldn’t help but feel that he was teaching my religion of Islam in such a hatred and bias way…"
"And to my findings, he was…”
This man has been teaching our class in his point of view, in the way that he thinks it should be…”
“He is not being informative about religions, but rather creating a religious intolerance.”
“This is a philosophy class, he is supposed to be opening our minds and getting us to understand why other people believe certain things…”
“I’m sure some of you have felt that he does slander other religions’ beliefs and speaks ill of some as well.”
“I knew me and Muhammad were not crazy speaking up against how he was teaching.”
“It wasn’t the information and facts we were debating against so much, he was teaching it all wrong, and taking so many things out of context, focusing on the ugly things instead of teaching the actual religion itself…”
“I will let you all read what our teacher has written about Islam and Mormonism, the two religions he continues to speak out against in our class.”
"I will not be attending this man’s class again, and I will be showing the dean of our school."
"By the way… He gave us both zero’s on our quizzes we fairly earned 6/6 on that day in class, and an absence because we left a few minutes early…"
"We weren’t going to sit there any longer and allow him to slander our beliefs the way he was that day…"
"Enjoy:”
